Ordering and payment

***4th June 2017. Due to a sudden and double family bereavement of Shirley's parents, Michael and Marjorie Cawdery, there will be a delay in sending items over the next week. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but hope you will understand at this difficult time for us.***

PAYMENT

We accept payment by £sterling but can accept other currencies providing banking costs are borne by the purchaser (contact us if you want to pay in a currency apart from £sterling). Payment can be made by cheque, banker's draft, postal order or electronic transfer. Cheques should be made payable to B&S Entomological Services. 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Current shipping prices can be found on the online shop.

We usually use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (smaller items/orders) & Parcelforce (larger items/orders) for our deliveries. If the parcel for a small order will be more than 60cm long we have to use 3 day delivery within UK. If no one is available to sign for the goods a notification should be left Royal Mail and you will be able to collect your goods from your local post office or depot. Goods will only be held for one week before being returned to us, so it is very important that you arrange re-delivery or collect and sign for your goods.

In the event that goods are sent back to us you will be entitled to a full refund of what you paid (cost of items and postal charge).

If an order is for bulky items, we reserve the right to contact you to let you know of any additional fee that needs to be paid. We will not collect additional amounts without your prior approval.

Please do not request for parcels to be 'left in the porch' or similar - if your parcel was to go missing, it would be your responsibility. You may find it easier to enter a neighbours address or your business address in the delivery field.

If returning items for any reason, please ensure you obtain a  proof of posting from your carrier - if we do not receive the goods back we cannot refund your payment.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Our aim is for your order to be with you within 3 business days. If you wish your order to be delivered on a specific date, please let us know and we will do all we can to meet your requirements.

International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

BACK ORDERS

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. You will not be charged until your item is ready to ship - if you have ordered from our website and paid via PayPal, but do not wish to wait, we will refund the amount paid.

TAX CHARGES

VAT at the current rate is included in all our goods and services. Customers from outside the European Union, or EU customers providing a valid VAT number, will not be charged VAT.
